Trio Of Warsaw Senior Golfers Honored

Three seniors on Warsaw’s varsity girls golf team are being recognized for their work in the classroom.

Miriam Hagg and Madelyn Ray were named to both the IHSAA and Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association Academics All-State teams.

Isabel Ray was named to the ICGSA Academic All-State team.

The IHSAA team recognizes the top 15 in the state, while the ICGSA team recognizes the top 45 in the state.

Hagg and Madelyn Ray will be presented their IHSAA Academic All-State awards at the annual Indiana Golf Fall Banquet on Oct. 5 at the Golf Club of Indiana.

“I’m extremely proud of all three girls and the hard work they have put into the classroom,” said Warsaw girls golf coach Tad Nieter. “It’s an honor to be selected to these prestigious awards and it should not be taken lightly. They have set an example of what it means to be a student-athlete.”
