Leaf Pickup Begins Monday In Warsaw
Fall leaf pick-up in Warsaw city limits will begin Monday, according to a news release issued by city hall.
Large piles of leaves raked to the curb or alley by 7 a.m. will be picked up on the normal trash day.
Residents are asked not to put sticks or other trash in the leaf piles. Small piles will need to be bagged or boxed and will be picked up on trash collection day.
Leaves should not be raked into the streets and gutter lines. This clogs the storm water catch basins and creates drainage issues that can lead to flooding, the news release said.
