Local Missions Responding To Volcano Disaster In Guatemala

Warsaw’s World Compassion Network will partner with Guatemala Evangelistic Medical Servants of Winona Lake to coordinate a response to the disaster from the volcano eruption in Guatemala earlier this week.
WCN Disaster Coordinator Joshua Varab and Dr. Gary Tipps with GEMS will arrive in Guatemala City today. Varab will attempt to procure supplies locally to help in the relief effort and do a disaster response assessment to help decide on the best practices for sending relief long distance. Tipps has served with GEMS for many years and made several trips to Guatemala.
The organizations ask the public to pray and donate to help maximize the Kosciusko County impact in helping victims in Guatemala.
