Nine local dentists and their staffs provided free dental care to underprivileged children Friday as part of the American Dental Association's "Give Kids a Smile" day.
The participating dentists included Dr. Randall Cory, Dr. Lena Fermback, Dr. Steven Hollar, Dr. John Jones, Dr. Karen Scripture, Dr. Bill Stofer, Dr. David Van Wormer, Dr. William Myers and Dr. Christian Willig.
To find the children in need of care, dentists are contacted by Combined Community Services, Head Start, the Boys & Girls Club, the Salvation Army and all Warsaw Community School Corp. school nurses. The program serves children up to 18 years old.
