According to County Democratic Chairman Steven Haines, on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Democratic headquarters the party leaders will select a temporary replacement of County Vice Chairwoman Jodie Pearl.
Pearl will be out-of-state tending to personal business. The replacement will fulfill her duties in Pearl's absence.
Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the party will host a Boss Hogg barbecue fund-raiser in the Wal-Mart parking lot.
