The Warsaw Community High School Adult Tiger Booster Club is now soliciting for ads for the upcoming winter program. Businesses and firms who have advertised in the past have been contacted by mail.
Anyone else interested in advertising in the program should contact Marlin J. Carr at 574-267-5858 by Nov. 5. In addition, current club members have also been contacted by mail.

The Adult Tiger Booster Club supports all 21 sports programs at WCHS. Membership forms as well as sports program ad forms are also available on the high school website, or visit the booster club on Facebook.
Athletic Office Selling Tickets For Warsaw/Penn Game
The Warsaw Community High School Athletic Office has begun selling IHSAA football sectional tickets.
Warsaw plays at Penn on Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $6 and can be purchased in the athletic office between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased until 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 25.
The athletic department is also selling short and long sleeve T-shirts.
Lady Lancers Leap Into Top 25
WINONA LAKE – After the team’s best start in program history, Grace College’s women’s soccer team finally broke into the NAIA Top 25 Coaches’ Poll.
The Lady Lancers, who were receiving votes for several weeks, earned a No. 21 ranking in the NAIA. Grace is receiving 148 points in the national poll.
Grace (14-1, 6-0 Crossroads League) is enjoying a 10-game winning streak, tied for the longest winning streak in team history. Grace will put its new ranking to the test on Wednesday, traveling to No. 1 Spring Arbor for a 7 p.m. match.
The Lady Lancers are currently first in the NAIA in wins (14) and shutouts (12), and they are eighth in goals scored (52).
The Crossroads League is well represented in the NAIA poll, featuring No. 1 Spring Arbor, No. 17 Marian and No. 21 Grace alongside Taylor and Indiana Wesleyan (receiving votes).
Blackwood Repeats As NAIA Defender Of The Week
WINONA LAKE – For the second consecutive week, Bethany Blackwood was recognized as the top goalkeeper in the NAIA.
Blackwood, a freshman for Grace College’s women’s soccer team, was named the NAIA National Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday. A day earlier she picked up NCCAA and Crossroads League Defensive Player of the Week awards as well.
Blackwood won all three awards last week as well (NAIA, NCCAA, CL). For the season, she has incredibly amassed eight Player of the Week honors in her first collegiate season.
The Lady Lancers are enjoying their best start in program history (14-1, 6-0 CL). Grace will play for first place in the league standings on Wednesday with a road match at No. 1 Spring Arbor. Grace’s 10-game winning streak is also on the line during Wednesday’s match.
