Warsaw Community Schools Rises Above State Standards In ACT Scores ACT reports that Warsaw Community Schools’ students outscored the state averages in all areas of math, science, English and reading, according to a press release from WCS. ACT also reports that on the national level only 20 percent of students are ready for College-level Coursework. At the state level, the number rises to 31 percent; at the local level, Warsaw Community Schools reports that 40 percent of tested students are ready for College-level Coursework. The release states, “Warsaw Community Schools continues to be committed to its mission, ‘To inspire and equip all students to continuously acquire and pursue knowledge and skills while pursuing their dreams and enriching the lives of others.’”
Warsaw Community Schools Invites Public To New Teacher Reception Warsaw Community Schools invites the public to a reception for new teachers to be held at the Warsaw Community Schools Administration Educational Services Center Monday at 6 p.m. At this time WCS will host light refreshments with a time of meeting and greeting the new teachers. At 6:30 p.m., the new teachers will be announced prior to the regularly scheduled 7 p.m. meeting of the WCS Board of School Trustees. Warsaw Community Schools welcomes the public to meet the 61 new teachers.
