Democrats To Meet
Kosciusko County Democrats will meet Aug. 5 at 7 p.m. at the party headquarters at 417 E. Winona Avenue.

Chess Club Scheduled At Warsaw Public Library
Chess Club is starting at Warsaw Community Public Library Saturday. This is for the beginner or the expert. Come meet other people that like to play chess.
Chess Club will meet every Saturday (unless WCPL is closed) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Hogan Activity Room downstairs. Call 574-267-6011 if you have any questions.

VFW Post 1126 Fish Fry Set In Warsaw
VFW Post 1126, 1350 W. Center St., Warsaw, is holding a fish fry Friday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Dine in orders are $7.50 for an all-you-can-eat meal or $4.50 for a half meal. Carry out meals also are available for $7.50. The public is welcome to attend.

Archaeology Event At WCPL
Indiana has more than 60,000 recorded archaeological sites. Warsaw Community Public Library is hosting a free archaeology program Tuesday at 6 p.m at the library.
This presentation, “Archaeology In Your Community” will cover:  myths and realities regarding archaeology; what is happening in Indiana in terms of archaeology today; how the public can be involved in archaeology; the Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology.
Speaker Amy L. Johnson, senior archaeologist and archaeology outreach coordinator, has worked for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources' Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology since 1991.
