SYRACUSE - Girls and their parents are invited to visit Camp Logan, 203 EMS Lane D 14, Syracuse, Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. to take tours and learn more about summer experiences.
Girls who are not Girl Scouts are invited to the open house, and membership information will be available for girls interested in Girl Scouting and/or summer sessions.
"Our summer experiences will excite girls while offering activities that develop leadership skills and build a lifetime of memories," says Sherri Weidman, CEO, Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana-Michiana. "No matter which cost-effective summer experiences she chooses to participate in this summer, each girl will discover more about herself, her skills, and her values. She will also be challenged in new ways as she learns to use her knowledge and skills."
Camp Logan includes 220 acres of woods, meadows, ravines and natural wetlands in Syracuse. The camp is open year-round and provides a variety of possibilities, including overnight programs.
Experiences at Camp Logan include swimming and canoeing in Dewart Lake.
