Staff Report-
The Wagon Wheel Theatre, a professional non-union theater in Warsaw, announced local adult auditions for its 2014 summer season. The shows include “Mary Poppins,” “Gypsy” and “Fiddler on the Roof.” There is a small pay stipend. The theater is seeking singer/actors ages 25 and up to play small roles in these productions. If you want to be considered for these shows you must attend this audition. You have to be available to rehearse during the day and attend all necessary rehearsals and performances. Prepare a short song (32 bars in length), bring sheet music (the theaterwill provide an accompanist). Acapella singing or singing with a karaoke track will not be allowed. You may be asked to stay for a short call-back where we will be singing and reading from the shows. Bring some kind of picture and resume (anything will do). All ethnicities and types are encouraged to attend the audition. Don’t worry if you have little or no experience. The audition will be at Wagon Wheel Theatre, 2515 E. Center St. Warsaw, at 6 p.m. March 22.
