ROCHESTER - Lloyd William Sells, 79, of 1896 E. Schoolview Drive, Rochester, died at 9:47 p.m. Aug. 1, 2010, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.
He was born July 29, 1931, in Beulah, Mich., to Kay and Dorothy Fleetwood Sells. On March 28, 1952, in Muskegon, Mich., he married Katherine Hill, who survives.
He lived in Rochester since 1978, coming from Muskegon. He earned a bachelor's degree from Michigan State in 1960. For many years he served as plant manager at Sealed Power, Rochester. He was a member of the Rochester Kiwanis and was also a U.S. Army veteran.
Also surviving are two daughters, Jackie (and spouse David) Homann, of South Bend, and Cindy Sells, Rochester; a son, Steve (and spouse Cherese) Sells, Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. Adam Clark officiating.
Calling is two hours prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
