NAPPANEE – Lloyd L. Wise, 83, of Nappanee, died at 4 p.m. April 28, 2012, in Courtyard Nursing Home, Goshen, where he was since September.
He was born May 31, 1928, in Oak Grove, to Lewis and Carrie Lechlitner Wise. On March 26, 1949, in Nappanee, he married Anna Mae Middaugh, who died Sept. 5, 2011.
A lifetime area resident, he worked in construction and carpentry, and retired from Newmar Corp., Nappanee. Surviving are two daughters, Gloria (and spouse Jack) Hamman, Leesburg, and Sue (and spouse Duane) Moneyheffer, Nappanee; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with Pastors Duane Moneheffer and Tom Scheifer officiating.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. ***** Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or IU Health Goshen Home Care and Hospice.
