One of Warsaw’s oldest businesses is being sold and moved to Illinois.
The Times-Union has learned that Little Crow Foods is moving its corporate headquarters out of Warsaw.
Little Crow Foods President Denny Fuller confirmed this morning that the company has been sold to Gilster-Mary Lee in Chester, Ill. and its equipment will be moved.
Employees were informed last week of the sale.
Chester is located in southern Illinois and Gilster-Mary Lee produces private-label food manufacturing.
Little Crow Foods was established in 1903 and is currently located at the corner of Market and Detroit streets in Warsaw.
It’s the maker of such products as CoCo Wheats and Miracle Maize.
