Living in Transition Effectively Recovery Hub is putting on a Re-entry Simulator from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 30 at Cardinal Services, 504 N. Bay St., Warsaw.
The simulation event immerses participants in the challenges faced by those re-entering society after incarceration. Attendees navigate scenarios related to employment, housing and support, fostering empathy and awareness through role-playing and discussions. The goal is to understand systemic barriers and personal hurdles, while promoting community support and strategies for successful reintegration.
There will be continential breakfast and refreshments available. Attendees will hear stories from participants and about peer recovery coaches.
