LIGONIER - Lisa L. Litchfield, 46, of Ligonier, died from complications of cancer at 4:10 p.m. June 5, 2007, in Avalon Village Nursing Home, Ligonier.
She was born Dec. 17, 1960, in Warsaw, to David and Linda Howard Dundas.
She lived in Cromwell for 24 years, South Whitley and Ligonier for three years. She was a teacher at Westview Junior and Senior School, Topeka. She taught social studies, economics, geography and U.S. history. She was a 1979 Warsaw Community High School graduate, received a bachelor's degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, and a master's degree from Indiana Purdue University, Fort Wayne.
Surviving are her mother, Linda Bowers, Warsaw; her stepfather, Larry Bowers, Spencerville; a son, Heath Litchfield, at home; a daughter, Morgan Litchfield, at home; and three sisters, Tonya Porter and Mrs. Glenn (Michelle) Hobbs, both of South Whitley, and Mrs. Ken (Nichole) Swain, Warsaw.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at J.A. Brazzell & Ulrey - Renner Funeral Home, Ligonier, with Pastor Duane Kline officiating. A private burial will be at a later date in Silver Lake Cemetery.
