SILVER LAKE – The Silver Lake Lions Club is sponsoring a free Thanksgiving meal in November. The dinner is Nov. 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lions building at the corner of Walnut and Harrison streets, four blocks east and one block north of Ind. 14, Silver Lake. The facility if handicapped accessible. RSVP is required no later than Nov. 26. To attend the dine-in, sit down meal call 260-352-2923 or 574-267-5858. When calling advise which seating time is preferred including 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m., noon or 12:30 p.m. There will not be carry-out or home delivery meals this year.
