SYRACUSE – Linda Smith, 71, of Pierceton, died Dec. 18, 2012, in Wesley Health Care, Auburn. She was born Dec. 10, 1941, in Plymouth, to Howard and Elnora Glover Hill. A lifelong area resident, she worked for many years at Augsburger’s then Lances New Market, North Webster. Surviving are a daughter, Michelle Hand, Syracuse; two sons, Rickey Pruitt, Pierceton, and Peter (and spouse Fanny) Pruitt, Florida; six grandchildren; a sister, Georgia Harley, Argos; and two brothers, Dennis Treber, Bremen, and Jim Treber, Rochester. She was preceded in death by a son and a grandson. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Jeff Boyer officiating.
