Linda S. Bauer, 64, Syracuse, passed away Feb. 7, 2016, at her home. She was born Nov. 8, 1951, in Elkhart, to Vernon H. and Phyllis Jean Haursperger Timke. On July 29, 1981, in Chicago, she married Robert Scott Bauer Jr., who preceded her in death in 2003. She spent most of her life as a homemaker and moved to the North Webster/Syracuse area from Chicago in 2003. Surviving are four daughters: Tammy Lubben, Bridgeview, Ill.; Connie Blankenship, Whitewater, Wis.; Kelly (and spouse Marlin) Pearson and Michele Bauer, both of Warsaw; eight grandchildren; three sisters: Tammy and Debbie Timke, both of Florida; and Evelyn (and spouse Roland) Boughton, Indianapolis; and four brothers: Ron (and spouse Cheryl) Timke, Syracuse; Scott Timke, Florida; and Jerry (and spouse Patty) and Darren Cox, all of Chicago. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Vernon “Bubby” Timke. No public services will be held.
