NAPPANEE – Linda Mae Miller, 89, of Nappanee, died at 8:05 a.m. March 20, 2013, in The Maples, Goshen, where she was a resident for two weeks.
She was born May 29, 1923, in Nappanee, to Moses J. and Maude E. Hochstetler Miller. On May 11, 1943, in Nappanee, she married Homer D. Miller, who died Aug.  13, 2008.
A lifetime area resident, she was a homemaker and a  pastor’s wife for many years. She was a member of Bethel Mennonite Church.
Surviving are four daughters: Katie (and spouse Glen) Bontrager, Wakarusa; Ina (and spouse Dale) Slabaugh, Nappanee; Sara (and spouse Joni) Schrock, Madison; Maria (and spouse Vernon) Bacher, West Minster, S.C.; a son, Lyle (and spouse Ada) Miller, Nappanee; 19 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and four brothers: Olen (and spouse Katie) Miller, Hartwell, Ga.; Herman (and spouse Anna Marie) Miller, Marshfield, Wis.; John William (and spouse Jane) Miller, Bremen; and Gilbert Lee (and spouse Mary Kathryn) Miller, Nappanee. She also was preceded in death by a stillborn son and two brothers.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bethel Mennonite Church with Pastor Calvin Yoder officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.
Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, is in charge of arrangements.
