Linda G. Jude, 71, of Claypool, passed away at 7:41 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2018, in her sister’s home in Silver Lake.
She was born on Nov. 14, 1947, to Norman and Leona Rule Denney in Warsaw.
She graduated from Warsaw High School, Class of 1966.
She was united in marriage to Johnny Jude on Jan. 23, 1978, in Wayne, W.Va. Johnny passed away on June 12, 2018.
She retired from Maple Leaf Farms after 27½ years of employment. She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County.
She enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing cards and feeding the birds, and she was an avid collector of special glass figurines.
Linda is survived by her sister, Rhonda (Ronald) Gronau of Silver Lake; a brother, Randy (Sally) Denney of Warsaw; sisters-in-laws: Geraldine, Loretta, Wanda and Madeline; a brother-in-law, “Bill”; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Although Linda and Johnny never had any children of their own, their children were their beloved dogs Jade and Jolene, whom they adored.
She was preceded by her parents and husband.
Services will be private.
