BOURBON – Linda E. Holmes, 71, of Bourbon, passed away at 12:18 p.m. Nov. 16, 2018, at home with her family at her side.
Linda was born July 3, 1947, at Akron, to George and Verna Moore Clemans. She has been a longtime resident of Bourbon and was a 1965 graduate of Akron High School.
She enjoyed crocheting, card and dice games. She was a Chicago Bears fan and most of all enjoyed her family and grandchildren.
Linda worked at Dana Corp. (Standard Motors) in Mishawaka.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammra (Eric) Johnson of Bourbon; and five grandchildren: Devin, Dylan, Kyle, Raven and Alexis Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, George “Butch” Clemans.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, in Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St. Bourbon.
A graveside service will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bourbon.
