NORTH MANCHESTER - Linda C. "Bird" Patrick, 61, of Sidney, died at 1:55 a.m. Sept. 11, 2007, in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester.
She was born Oct. 21, 1945, in Rochester, to Kenneth and Martha Ray Starkweather. On Aug. 11, 1969, she married Menifee "Dick" Patrick, who survives.
She was a homemaker. After living in the Rochester area most of her formative years, she moved to North Manchester before her senior year of high school. She was a 1963 Manchester High School graduate and attended two years of cosmetology school.
Also surviving are four sons: Chris (and wife Dawn) Patrick and Rick Patrick, both of North Manchester; Randy (and wife Tracey) Patrick, Warsaw; and Mike Patrick, North Webster; a brother, Roy (and wife Vicki) Starkweather, North Manchester; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Dorothy) Howard, Portage, and Sandy Singleton, North Manchester; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Sidney Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
