Linda B. Whitaker Adams, 66, of Silver Lake, died at 4:25 p.m. Oct. 25, 2008, in Mason Health and Rehab, Warsaw.
She was born Sept. 10, 1942, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Henry and Ival Akers Whitaker. On Nov. 21, 1960, in Prestonsburg, she married Bill Adams, who survives.
Living in Kosciusko County for 45 years, she worked at Kimble Glass and was a member of Early Apostolic Bible Training Center, Claypool, and American Legion Post 258, Pierceton.
Also surviving are three daughters: Ival Blocher, North Manchester; Billie Marie Fogle, South Carolina; and Rachel Adams (and fiance Randy Ousley), Silver Lake; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters: Claudia Barton, Pierceton; Garnet Rose Whitaker, Warsaw; and Arlene (and spouse Jim) Barton, Michigan; and two brothers, Bart Milton Whitaker, Seattle, Wash., and Michael Whitaker, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Early Apostolic Bible Training Center, Claypool, with Pastor Dean Ealey officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
