Rising Arrow Scout Camp is the annual setting for the Lincolnway District Cub Scout Day Camp and this was the 35th year.
Two hundred thirty-three young Scouts registered for the event this year. Despite the first two mornings of light rain, the attendance stayed at 89 percent. All of the activities went very smooth. The Scouts enjoyed the crafts, archery, gold panning, arrowhead hunting, games, the BB-gun range, scout merry-go-round, nature trail, obstacle course, the 20-minute hike to the back “40”, and especially the afternoon special programs.
On Wednesday, David Storm from Michigan did his “Storm Magic”. On Thursday, The Mad Scientist from Kalamazoo gave a study in physics, and the world famous magic of Dick Stoner astonished everyone on Friday.
