Lincoln Third-Grade Students Visit Mason HealthcareLincoln Elementary third-grade students recently spent time crafting flower pens and writing notes on magnetic notepads for the residents of Mason Healthcare. Students delivered the pens and notepads to each resident, as well as to nursing staff at the location. In addition, the entire student body decorated and drew pictures on pink paper placemats for the residents in honor of Valentine’s Day as well. One staff member shared that she saw a resident who hadn’t smiled since Christmas and said, “Some sweet kids came and gave me a pen and notepad so I could keep track of my things.” Many residents at Mason Healthcare were full of smiles, hugs and thankfulness when receiving the gifts from Lincoln students.
