Third-grade Lincoln Elementary School students have experienced many hands-on STEM activities in the classroom this year. The students were able to implement the design process by thinking like an engineer during the simple machines unit. After learning about all the simple machines, the students were challenged to create flagpoles, windmills and Ferris wheels using K’NEX.
