NORTH MANCHESTER - Lillian M. Dickerhoff, 93, formerly of Silver Lake, died at 9:26 a.m. (CST) Oct. 11, 2009, in her residence in Munster.

She was born Nov. 3, 1915, in Crown Point, to Leo and Minnie Homeier Klemm. On Nov. 9, 1935, she married Robert V. Dickerhoff, who died Nov. 9, 1968.

She was a farmer, a homemaker and a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Wabash.

Surviving are a son, Ronald (and spouse Carol) Dickerhoff, Munster; a daughter, Sharon (and spouse Donald) Stoten, Carthage; a half brother, Gilbert (and spouse Gail) Stiener, Crown Point; a half sister, Kathryn (and spouse Clarence) Dockweiler, College Station, Texas; a stepsister, Evelyn Froneck, Crown Point; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four stepbrothers and a stepsister.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. (EST) Saturday at Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, with Pastor Manfred Fremder officiating.

No calling is planned.
