MILFORD - Lillian June Kock, 90, of Miller's Merry Manor, Syracuse, went home to be with the Lord at 8:15 a.m. July 19, 2010.
She was born June 28, 1920, in Girard, Ill., to Guy and Flora Seaton Robertson. On Feb. 6, 1944, she married Harold F. Kock, who died in 1986.
She spent most of her life in Illinois before moving to Milford in 1994. She was a 1938 Peoria High School graduate. She was a cashier at National Tea Food store and was a nurse's aid (LPN) at Rest Haven Convalescent Home, both in Illinois. She was a member of Wawasee Community Bible Church, Milford. She enjoyed sewing, reading and doing puzzles of any kind. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are a daughter, Phylis (and spouse Jack) Barthel; two sons, Charles "Chuck" (and spouse Deb) Koch and John (and spouse Karen) Koch, all of Illinois; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Robertson, Oregon. She was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Robertson Hauptmann Pence; a brother, Lynn Robertson; and a daughter-in-law, Paulette Kock.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford, with Pastor Tom Speicher and Jack Barthel officiating. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Beverly Cemetery, Blue Island, Ill.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
