Lila L. Wease, 78, of Grace Village, Winona Lake, died at 7:15 p.m. July 27, 2011, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born March 8, 1933, in Napolean, Ohio, to Arthur and Pauline Henrich Babcock. On July 22, 1950, in Yuma, Ariz., she married Hugh D. Wease, who died in 2007.
She was a Grace Village resident since 2010, and was formerly a resident of Ellenton, Fla. She was a homemaker and a member of the Faith Lutheran Church, Parrish, Fla.
Surviving are two daughters, Cynthia (and spouse Walter) Scott, Marion, and Cary (and spouse Terry) Schlotterback, Leesburg; a son, Mark (and spouse Ellen) Wease, Leesburg; three sisters, Linda Fruth, Ellenton, Fla., Sharon (and spouse Richard) Fredrick, Parrish, and Diane (and spouse Jerry) Panning, Hudson, Wis.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
Services will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with the Rev. Corinne Hodgesofficiating. Burial will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushmell, Fla.
