Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. But if you can fool me all the time, I'm probably a fool. The people in the media seem to think their viewers are fools that can be told anything and they'll believe them.
Take for instance the continuing attacks on Donald Trump. Democrats still insist he was the most corrupt president ever elected. But they don't give any proof. If they say there are so many examples of corruption, they should be asked to name three examples of corruption. They might bring up the charge that Trump wanted Ukraine to dig up dirt on Joe Biden. I thought it was right to investigate corruption. Joe "The Muppet" Biden shut down the investigation of corruption in Ukraine which would have made his son Hunter look bad and might have led to the discovery that Joe was the Big Guy that demanded a cut in the money made by his son. If the Democrats had been willing to investigate corruption in Ukraine like Trump wanted, maybe Biden would have been considered unfit to be president. But Democrats needed the voters to be fooled to make sure someone they could control was put in the White House.
Critical race theory has been supported by people that want to destroy American society. Parents don't want their children to be considered racists because they are white. I heard a Chinese woman say that CRT is similar to what Mao and his people did during the Cultural Revolution that killed millions of Chinese people. CRT is part of the Marxist ideology that has destroyed various nations. But we are considered fools if we oppose an ideology that will destroy society. One of the most beautiful women I was a good friend of was Black. She was also a wonderful Christian woman. I even considered marrying her. But she married someone else and might be a grandmother by now. Her faith in God would make her a fool in the eyes of those that think Christians believe in fairy tales.
A year ago, those who insisted the COVID-19 virus came from a lab in Wuhan were considered fools. Today, it looks like Dr. Fauci might have been responsible for funding the development of the virus in the lab. Some damaging emails to him and the deaths of people involved with the virus make it look like the virus could have been a bioweapon that escaped the lab. I always thought the virus was too uniformed in appearance to be natural. We're lucky the virus wasn't as bad as it could have been.
Election day in November 2022 might determine if the powers to be can rely on us remaining fools or if we can demonstrate wisdom and do what's right despite the fools around us.
