Lifeline Plans Dinner, Auction

Lifeline Plans Dinner, AuctionThe Eighth Annual Warsaw Dinner and Auction for Lifeline Youth & Family Services Inc. will be April 25 at the Stonehenge Country Club.

Proceeds from the event will benefit local programs provided by Lifeline. The theme for this year's event is a masquerade party.

Committee members said they are humbled by the support of local sponsors and businesses."In spite of the tough economy, local businesses have been very generous. Our community has a heart for kids and families," said committee member Tina Dunn.

Lifeline provides programs for children and families at risk for abuse, neglect and delinquency. Lifeline's mission is "changing hearts and bringing hope to a generation at risk" and will work with more than 8,000 individuals throughout the state this year.

Lifeline provides several services in Kosciusko County, including operation of Riverwood Ranch, Stoney Point and Pierceton Woods Academy group homes.

They also work with dozens of students at Warsaw Community High School and will provide family-based services to the youth and parents of more than 50 area families this year.
