'Licentious Toady Support of the Education Establishment'

“Can’t we all just get along”? Who really cares whether it’s right or wrong, conservative or liberal, Republican or Democrat, pro-life or pro-choice ... absolute or relative? Should a conciliatory sometimes confused news general manager care (Sept. 3, p. 1A) or a political party-hopping lawyer (Oct. 3, p.5A)? Attorney and President Abe Lincoln cared as did our founding fathers.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life ...” so declared America’s founders July 4, 1776. So likewise did President Lincoln preserve the sanctity of life by blocking those states wishing to continue slavery from seceding from the Union.

Do you believe either Lincoln or our founders would agree with those who see other forms of government or opposing political parties as equally acceptable even if and when basic beliefs are totally opposite? Would they, for example, have considered the sanctity of human life as negotiable? Or trust in God as both our creator and source of absolute truth negotiable?

Unfortunately, one of our political parties has for many decades found these and other related absolutes negotiable. The Democrat party platform long ago decided the unborn child (like the Jews of Nazi Germany or the slaves of Civil War times) to be merely property, therefore undeserving any right to life. The tragic effect is a daily loss of near 4,000 innocent precious unborn babies.

Sadly, the Democrat party cannot claim full credit for this atrocity. Full credit belongs to Satan whom Jesus declared the originator of such deception and destruction, calling Satan “a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth... he is a liar and the father of it.” By contrast, Jesus is “the way, the truth and the life.”

The thunderous silence of delusional self-proclaimed pro-life Democrats on this one among many Democrat negotiable absolutes is loudly inaudible. It’s nearly as impressive as the peaceful riots of pro-life jihadists. Oxy “morons” all. Honest Abe put his finger on this predicament when he prophesied, “The philosophy of the classroom in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next.”

Less than a century ago, the creator was expelled from public classrooms. Filling the vacuum was the godless belief in evolutionism. Predictably, freedoms of religion, speech and press were likewise expelled. Indoctrination of impressionable children has been the goal convincing them that all life came from non-life by the miracles of chance and time. Our creator who was there at the beginning has been replaced by the beliefs of men who were not there.

Sadly, the effect of this atheistic public education agenda has morphed the Democrat party into a party of deceivers, liars and the Bar Association’s best friend and ally. Equally tragic is the licentious toady support of the education establishment (especially higher ed), Hollywood, major media (all networks except FNC), and press (all except Washington Times). Thankfully, our Times-Union (whose motto is “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”) has remained mostly fair and balanced.

Finally and admittedly, the Republican party is not without fault. With its pro-life foundation, however, the party mainly needs more infusion of tea to overcome minority deficiencies in the House, Senate and White House. Prayerfully, this happens no later than November 2012 for the very survival of our beloved country.
