The Warsaw Community Public Library Board of Trustees adjourned their Monday meeting quickly after no members of the public attended the scheduled budget hearing.
For the proposed 2006 library budget, the operating fund totals $2,140,892. Of this fund, $1,247,409, or 58 percent, is for salaries and benefits for all library employees.
Capital outlays in the improvement reserve fund totals $151,655. Monies allotted to this fund will be assigned to property improvements.
The library capital fund, a budgeted $290,783, also will be assigned to property improvements, as well as equipment purchases and maintenance.
Present members were Tony Etienne, John Yingling, Mark Morrison, Wendy Kovach, Ruth Jones and Joel Curry. Paulette Sanders was absent.
