Tuesday is Kiddies Day, Kosciusko REMC Day and 4-H Leader Appreciation Day at the Kosciusko County Community Fair. Levi Riggs is the grandstand headliner Tuesday night, with gates at 6 p.m. and show time at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for children ages 6 to 12; those under 5 are free. Events throughout the day include: • Silent auction and sale of handmade items, HFA Building. • Magazine exchange, Commercial Tent (tent hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m.). • All week – log cabin open, 1 to 9 p.m., Antique Area • All afternoon – Island Weaver/Lauri Hoover, HFA • 8 a.m. – 4-H Volunteer Appreciation Day registration, 4-H Office • 8:30 a.m. – swine show, Show Arena • 9 a.m. – Science Central, Event Center; horse and pony showmanship and halter, Horse Arena; llama show, Llama Tent; start of all-day rope making, Antique Area • 10 a.m. – Lake City Bank coin hunt, Event Center; blacksmith demonstration, Blacksmith Area • 11 a.m. – 4-H Pocket Caged Critter Show, Event Center • noon – open class exhibits open, HFA; Deb Collier School of Dance, Event Center; 4-H exhibits open, Shrine Building • 1 p.m. – gates open, main entrance; extension exhibits open, HFA; Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinic for children, Event Center (open to first 100) • 2 p.m. – carnival rides open, Midway (Kiddies Day special, $1 per ride all day until close); demonstration butterflies and hummingbirds, HFA • 4 p.m. – 4-H robotics demonstration, HFA • 6 p.m. – Sanctioned Kiddies Tractor Pull (registration at 5 p.m.); horse and pony contesting and versatility, Horse Arena; sweet corn supper and homemade ice cream, Antique Area • 6:30 p.m. – goat show fun and exploring 4-H, Goat Barn; dairy master showmanship, Show Barn (dairy product contest to follow) • 7 p.m. – horse and pony contesting and versatility, Horse Arena; demonstration rain barrels, HFA • 9 p.m. – 4-H exhibits and Extension Office close
