MILFORD - Levi I. Chupp, 88, of Milford, died Feb. 5, 2011, in Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare, Milford.

He was born March 10, 1922, in Emma, to Ira Sr. and Katherine Stutzman Chupp. On Nov. 14, 1942, he married Polly Helmuth, who died Aug. 14, 1992.

Living in the Milford area most of his life, he was a body shop repairman. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Bethel Church of the Brethren, Milford American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Syracuse.

Surviving are three daughters, Patricia (and spouse Charles) McKibbin and Pamela LeBlanc, all of Milford, and Loretta (and spouse Michael) Minnick, Ligonier; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Ira Chupp Jr., Florida; and a sister, Rosetta Miller, Milford. He was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford, with the Rev. Verne Leininger officiating. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery, with military rites.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
