Editor, Times-Union: We missed much of the controversy regarding the repaving and curbing of Lilac Lane and Brubaker Street because we were on a Lions' mission to Mexico. However on our return on Sept. 20, we were made fully aware of the dissension.
For our part, may we say that the highway department personnel did a superb job, were unfailingly courteous, cooperative and most willing to oblige all the residents in their concerns whenever possible.
At least two families on the street have less of a drainage problem in front of their homes and the look of most of the neighborhood has improved.
