Editor, Times-Union: I and my new husband, John, and our family would like to thank all of our family and old friends and new ones too because after our beautiful wedding Oct. 2, we knew we had everything. Then Oct. 13, the most devastating thing happened to our family: a house fire.
We were blessed on one thing, the most important one, nobody was hurt! We would like to give a special thanks to our neighborhood and our co-workers. Thank you for all your prayers.

Editor, Times-Union: I read through your wedding insert and thought I would make a comment. The article dealing with selecting a wedding photographer had some good info in it. However the author suggests the bridal couple start looking for a photographer six to nine months before the wedding. A better suggestion would be to start sooner if you have the time - most photographers in this area are booked 12-18 months ahead.
