Editor, Times-Union: Stacy, I'll admit there wasn't a whole lot of damage done to my bike, only $364 for a new fender, but, hey, that's just pocket change to us, right? I'll also admit I don't know where it happened at but, hey, that makes it all better now. I also happened to be in a hurry and forgot to do a walk-around inspection at each stop; please forgive me. Stacy, if I offended you with my blowing off steam last Tuesday then I sincerely apologize for it. But for the person who did it - if I made you even feel a little guilty, then I am happy man.
Well, Stacy, I must be off now, I'm one of those EVIL truck drivers who like to run red lights in your town. See ya.

Caring Community
Editor, Times-Union: It's good to be part of a small community where people care about others and also care about right and wrong.
On July 19, I was sideswiped by a car whose driver didn't stop. I was very surprised when Cpl. Lee Ann Richardson called to inform me that two different individuals had witnessed the accident and phoned the police department with the license number of the other car. Thank you very much for your concern and willingness to get involved.
I also want to thank Cpl. Richardson. She was very professional, friendly and she showed real concern for me.
We don't always hear about the good things that happen in our community, but I think these acts of kindness deserve to be heard. Thanks again.
