Editor, Times-Union: Today, Friday, when I opened your paper, I was astounded what I saw on the front of the sports section. A big picture and article about Kobe Bryant! To put it mildly, I was astounded. It makes me think about stopping taking your paper. Here is an admitted adulterer, at the very least, being treated like a hero. What has happened to our decent priorities in our country? An ex-president who participated in sexual activities in the sanctity of our oval office, and people are going nuts buying his book. I truly believe that our country is beginning to pay dividends for our choices. We used to be a nation with high ideals, but no more.

Thanks For Help
Editor, Times-Union: On Sunday, my husband's truck stopped on us at Wooster Road and CR 250E. A young Spanish couple in a Honda behind us helped push us across the road on the grass on the south side. Nice gentleman let us leave it there until a wrecker came and picked it up. I was walking to a friend's house three houses away, a young man in a red truck pulled in a driveway at the second house and dialed my daughter's number to come get us. Several other people stopped and asked if we needed help. I can't thank enough all the people who stopped to help us. It was unbelievable of all those wonderful people offering to help - a big thanks to all of you.
