Editor, Times-Union: I have a question. If I should find, and it's highly unlikely that I shall, one of those lost or stolen Mexican Consulate identification cards, what am I to do with it? Should I try to find the owner, contact the police, or get in touch with the Mexican Consulate? I am referring to the several cards listed missing as reported in your public occurrences section of your 5-15-06 issue.
I would assume these people with missing cards might have problems of some sort if and when asked to present them. This surely isn't the work of just one thief as the robberies happened in several different towns and cities. Do these cards have a bigger value then the $30 listed? Something strange about this situation I think. Any ideas anyone?
