Editor, Times-Union: Why did Tippecanoe Valley students not get a delay on Wednesday, March 27th, with such dangerous weather and road conditions? Our administrators must not have used the resources at their disposal. Really all they needed to do was get out on the county roads or look out the window to know that at least a two-hour delay was necessary. I am happy that no students were injured, but am upset that they were endangered. Tippecanoe Valley is usually one of the last schools to call a delay. Did we not get up early enough to follow suit again? This was a disgrace! Every child that went to school under the conditions of the road and lack of visibility knew they were not safe. Safety of our children should be first at all times.
Valley patrons deserve better than what we are getting. How long do we have to put up with a superintendent who keeps dropping the ball?
