Editor, Times-Union: In response to the recent alleged prostitution charge, I've just started my practice as a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT). I feel I speak for all CMTs that we have worked hard to educate ourselves, in order to help people understand the benefits of a preventative alternative for healthy living. We have to work even harder to remove the stigmatism attached to the word massage.
The dating service is not competition to my clientele, CMTs just don't want an association of therapeutic massage confused with what they are offering.
