Editor, Times-Union: Where I live, our parking lot and sidewalks were cleaned thoroughly several times each day during the recent snowstorms.
Many of the residents are younger and could have helped shovel; but it is not required. Our landlord cares about our safety.
But as I drove by and visited several residents at Courts of Colfax, I was appalled at the condition of their parking lot and sidewalk! These are our senior citizens! Who is responsible for their safety?
