Editor, Times-Union: We at The Salvation Army wish to express a sincere and warm thank you to all who supported our Tree of Lights, Red Kettle fund-raising campaign during the past holiday season. This effort was successful in raising over $95,000.
Dollars raised made it possible for us to serve needy families, children, individuals and shut-in senior citizens with gifts, toys and food for a Christmas dinner during the month of December. Remaining dollars will help us provide the means necessary to continue serving Kosciusko County throughout 1998.
Love is patient. Love is kind. It always trusts, always hopes and always remains strong. We should love people not only with words and talk, but by our actions and true caring. Thank you Kosciusko County for truly caring by helping us as we reach out to those in need. God bless you.
