I have a great idea. Do away with the Letters to the Editor and make the space available for ads of people needing to sell things to make ends meet.
I realize that you have classifieds, but I'm talking about free space for those selling one item 50 bucks or less. It would be a great service with the economy the way it is. You might just make up the money selling more newspapers as daily sales might go up with those of us looking to buy things.
Now to the meat of the matter in suggesting this idea of getting rid of the letter section. I am tired of all the political bashing one party against another. I am personally not reading anything other than your front page and the front page of the sports section from this day forward. The rest is starting to annoy me.
Household tip: Newspaper is cheaper than paper towels and using vinegar and water it will clean windows and leave them squeaky to boot.
