NAPPANEE – Letha F. Flory, 92, of 1700 Waterfall Dr., Nappanee, died at 5:05 p.m. Sept. 13, 2011, in her residence after a six-month illness.
She was born June 15, 1919, in Etna Green, to Ray and Zelda Sumpter Thomas. On May 20, 1938, in Bourbon, she married Clarence V. Flory, who died March 15, 1992.
She was a graduate of LaPaz High School. She was a farmwife and a homemaker. She was a lifetime member of Camp Creek Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are a son, John Flory, Leesburg; three daughters: Janet (and spouse Larry) Burckhart, Melbourne, Fla.; Bonnie Wiedemen, Bourbon; and Debbie Schmucker, Goshen; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Hughes and Lucille Maxson, and a daughter-in-law, Pam Flory.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Thompson Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with the Rev. Mark Reige officiating. Burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery.
