NORTH WEBSTER – Lester W. “Bud” Stabler, 91, North Webster died at 10:45 p.m. June 14, 2012, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Syracuse.
He was born Jan. 2, 1921, in Syracuse, to Arnold and Blanche Wilkinson Stabler. On June 6, 1941, in Syracuse, he married Ethel Mary Niles, who died March 28, 1991.
He graduated from New Paris High School and was a World War II Army veteran. He was a farmer and was a member of the North Webster Church of God.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda (and spouse Rick) Hamman, North Webster, and Trudy Ann Smith, Georgia; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ellie Hall, Florida. He was preceded by a brother.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of God, North Webster, with Pastor Jeff Boyer officiating. Burial will follow in Solomon’s Creek Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster.
