Michelle Ball's fourth-grade students at Pierceton Elementary School have been involved in a series of lessons on giving. These lessons are funded through a grant from the Dekko Foundation and are designed to teach students the importance of giving, civic engagement and the development of character through giving. For one of the lessons, the students made fleece blankets to be used by the patients at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.
