Leslie Weary Lillis, 87, of Winona Lake, died at 5:45 a.m. June 13, 2010, in Grace Village, Winona Lake.
She was born April 26, 1922, in Chicago, Ill., to Leslie Albert and Conway Christian Fleming Weary. On Oct. 13, 1951, in Virginia Beach, Va., she married Paul B. Lillis, who died April 25, 2010.
In addition to her husband, children and grandchildren, she greatly loved chocolate, shoes, dogs, the ocean and the beach. She will be missed by her family and many friends.
Surviving are a daughter, Leslie (and spouse Mark) Piazza, Warsaw, and Stephen (and spouse Lynn) Lillis, Phoenix, Ariz.; and six grandchildren: Megan Piazza; Melissa (and spouse Kyle) Watson; and Lisa, Laura, Stacie and Sean Lillis. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Catherine Fiutko; and a brother, Peyton Weary.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. Please wear purple clothing to the memorial service. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
