BOURBON – Leslie A. Hodges, 42, of Pierceton, died at 5:35 p.m. Feb. 26, 2012, in her residence, from injuries suffered in a farm machinery accident.

She was born Sept. 7, 1969, in Plymouth, to James Hodges and Toni Burnett.

A lifetime area resident, she graduated from Triton High School in  1988 and was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. She loved her two dogs, “Jack” and “Peeps” and her horses. She worked at D&T Transportation, Goshen, delivering recreational vehicles.

Surviving are her father and stepmother, James and Deb Hodges, Rochester; her mother, Toni Wheeler, Pierceton; her stepfather, Joe Wheeler, Elkhart; a brother, Wesley Hodges, Tippecanoe; four stepbrothers: Larry “Pete” (and spouse Jill) Thompson, Bourbon; Chad (and spouse Missy) Thompson, Warsaw; Jeremy Wheeler, Elkhart; and Chris Mooney, Fort Wayne; a  maternal grandmother, Ann Burnett, Warsaw: Susan (and spouse Bill) Harr; Lonny (and spouse Norma) Hodges; Dustin (and spouse Jennifer) Hollar; Billy Harr; Pat Hodges; Patrick Jr.; Chase; Dana; and Shelby. She was preceded in death by a brother, James “Jimmy” Hodges, who died in December 2010, and  grandparents, Mary and Norman Hodges.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Parks Cemetery, Bourbon.

Calling is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon.
